Wealthy Affiliate offers all the training you require to enable you to start a business as an affiliate. The program is fast becoming one of the most sought after programs and membership may not be so reasonable in the future. There are also advantages to joining for a year, instead month by month. Join the program and get stuck in, really.
Start with the 'Getting Started Guides'. Do some research and find a niche market that interests you, or one that you know about. You are far more likely to succeed if you are passionate about your subject.
You will need to work through the eight-week Action Plan which is time-released. Ensure that you don't spend all your time learning and not taking action. If you do this, then your learning curve is going to be almost horizontal. Wealthy Affiliate suggests that you spend 50% of your time learning and doing research and 50% of your time taking action and actually marketing. This is probably the most valuable information I can give you too.
If you are comfortable building a website then this is the way to go. Build your campaign when you are comfortable researching keywords and adgroups, build your website and start by writing a few articles for Squidoo and Ezinearticles. You will be able to use the RapidWriter tool as part of your membership with WA, so if you are not a born writer, you will still be able to produce good copy.
As you become more confident, you will be able to set a Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign. You can also work on maximising your and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Continue with the Action Plan and go over previous tutorials. There is an abundance of information on the WAU site, and resources are being updated each day.
Make sure that you use Google Adwords to its best advantage and Wealthy Affiliate will teach you how to make the most of Adwords.
The most important bit of advice again is, don't spend all your time learning because you need to be practicing and taking action on what you have learned. This is the only way to succeed. Don't be too bothered about failure at first. If you fail with something, put it down to experience and value it; it will make you stronger provided that you learn from your mistake. You won't get everythiing perfect every time. Good luck affiliate marketing.
