Become A Super Affiliate

Become A Super Affiliate

The most successful affiliates, or Super Affiliates, all have one thing in common; they all know the secrets to finding the latest, hottest niche market products.  Finding the most sought-after products is an art-form.  It is possible to spend 80% of your time finding the best products to promote; if you are doing this, you only have a minimum amount of time left, and you will have to split this 20% between updating your website, setting up links, advertising and preparing landing pages and articles to promote your new product.  This means that you are never going to be able to master any niche markets and you will soon find yourself in hot water.  There are many ways to find the best products and listed below are some unique ideas to get you started.  Ultimately, it comes down to researching the right keywords.
Google
Google really ought to be called "Google Goldmine" as this search engine provides you with the excellent tools and resources to enable you to tap into the best markets.  You can use Google Trends and Google Hot Trends to research consumer behavior prior to setting up your campaign. Google Trends highlights searches that are showing a sudden increase in popularity; the information updates every hour.  In order to leverage relevant products and topics, it is important to understand why the popularity of that products increased.

Technology trends are ideal to work with, however because these trends are ever-changing, you must stay ahead of the game.  You can search for the latest products and services using ZDnet.  This search engine shows the top search terms over the past 30 days on the main page. Make sure you read testimonials and reviews of the products you want to promote.  Mastering the product search will have customers returning to your site for these products.

Find out what people are searching for online and research relevant customers.  You can find the world's most popular goals by visiting 43things.com.  Click the Zeitgest tab (top right corner) to get a list of the most popular 43 things searched for online.  You will be able to access testimonials and customer accounts of why the products are chosen.  This tool allows you to find products and services people are searching for in order to complete the specific goal.
You can find out how and why people are shopping for products on the Shopping.com site.  Shopping.com provides a birds-eye view of categories being shopped for.  Visit Shopping.com
Another way to find products is to search Google, enter your keywords into the search and you will find your niche.

If you are starting out as an affiliate, you may only be opting for one marketing strategy, like article marketing, but there are many models for you to take advantage of.  That's what sets super affiliates apart; they use every opportunity available to sell their products and that's what we should all be doing, such as;

Blogs, Forums and Chat Rooms
Do not overlook blogs, forums and chat rooms.  It is possible to research what people are talking about.  Look for reviews about products too.  If you come across an adverse review or complaint regarding products, you could choose to source an alternative or better product to promote.  Also, find out what competition is promoting and if they are blogging about making large sums of money, this is definitely the product your you.

Community Answer Databases
These are sites such as Yahoo! Ask, WikiAnswers and Answerbag.  These databases are community-run question and answer sites.  Just as with forums and blogs, it is possible to search for products on these sites, just enter keywords into the search bar, and find out what people are looking for.  They may be looking for specific training, or a type of phone and so on.  By tapping into these sites, you are able to find great niches.

Affiliate Networks
Search the affiliate networks, such as ClickBank, CJ.com, LinkShare.com; there are many affiliate networks and they have a huge portfolio of products.  These networks incorporate their own search function, some run affiliate programs for promotion of the network.  Although few have affiliate programs, this will soon change.  ClickBank network is in the process of setting up an affiliate program.  ClickBank already runs a merchant affiliate product whereby affiliates earn a percentage of commission for referring merchants. Internet Stores
Many online stores have affiliate programs, such as Amazon, and although Amazon commission rates are extremely low, if you join a few of these stores, you could soon see your profits rocket.

Blogs and Chat Rooms
You can search blogs, forums and chat rooms to search for niche markets.  Use the 'category' function, then search for keywords and research what products people are asking for.

Ebay
It is possible to do a 'history' search on Ebay.  On the left hand side on the sidebar you will find a search history function.  This will tell you what is popular and what products people are looking for.

Affiliate Networks
Join an affiliate program; most offer promotion incentives and will pay good commission rates if you promote their products (such as e-books or guides).

The super affiliate is always ahead of the game, in every aspect, and their sights are set high.  But we all start off from the same place, its just how we progress that determines where we arrive.  It's worth looking at what the super affiliates are doing, and how they market their offers and choose their products.  We can learn much from them.  Happy affiliate marketing.
