ClickBank

Easy Ways To Earn With ClickBank Merchant Referrals

You can earn extra commission by referring additional product vendors to ClickBank. Currently, there is no referral program for referring new affiliates.

When you refer a vendor who activates their account you earn 20% of the $49.95 activation charge. Additionally, you earn 5% of ClickBank’s typical markup of each sale that your recruited vendor makes for one calendar year.

ClickBank’s typical markup on every sale is $1 + 7.5% of the sale price, so you earn about $0.09 to $0.99 on every sale.  Commissions Here

The 20% of the activation charge ($9.99) that you earn when a referred vendor signs up will appear under transaction type “bons-0001? in the transaction detail. Your 5% of the markup for all sales made by that vendor for a full year appear as transaction type “bons-0001? in the transaction detail.

3 Simple Steps To Use ClickBank

Using ClickBank Marketplace is quite easy.  Below are some guidelines on how to use ClickBank effectively.  This should save you having to search through the information on the site.  Firstly, open your ClickBank account.  You will be asked to create a username.  This is important so remember your username, as this will be used to identify you and this will be included in the Hoplink created to identify you as the marketer and therefore the owner of that commission.  Opening an account and creating your username is quite straightforward.  You will now be on your way to earning commission on the products within the marketplace.  Just follow these simple guidelines:

CHOOSE PRODUCT YOU WANT TO PROMOTE

To choose which products you want to promote, visit the Marketplace.  You can either use "search the Marketplace" or click on the man category in the "list of categories" box.  Click on the green arrows next to the main categories to browse the products by subcategory.

CREATE YOUR HOPLINKS
A Clickbank Hoplink is the method ClickBank uses to successfully track the sale and provide you with the correct commission credit.  The Hoplink transfers or links potetial customers from your promotion to a publisher's website and credits you.  If the customer purchases the product, you will be paid commission for the sale.
The simplest way to create a Hoplink is to click on the "create Hoplink" icon.  This will open a window in which you need to enter your ClickBank nickname.  Enter your nickname and click "submit".  A window will open containing your created Hoplink.  The format for the Hoplink is as follows:
http://AFFILIATE.PUBLISH.HOP.CLICKBANK.NET.

There are some methods of promoting Hoplinks that paid search engine marketing, which require including the Hoplink without HTML.

A common mistake for new affiliates to make include using the target URL (or publishers landing page) in their promotions instead of a Hoplink (for example, http://PUBLISHER.AFFILIATE).  If you do this, you will not be paid commissionin.  Other mistakes include using misspelled or incorrect nicknames in the Hoplink, promoting links with typos (such as using htp:// instead of http:// or using clickbank.com instead of clickbank.net), so test all Hoplinks before you start promoting.

When using the 'create Hoplink' feature, AFFILIATE will be automatically replaced with your nickname and PUBLISHER will be replaced with the nickname of the seller.  When  using Hoplinks in your own website, you use HTML. This is what it looks like in HTML:
<a href="http://AFFILIATE.PUBLISHER.hop.clickbank.net" target="_top">CLICK HERE</a>

When using the "create Hoplink" feature and the Hoplink above appears, it is the same as above, but CLICK HERE will be replaced with the any promotional text or image that you prefer, so you must replace the CLICK HERE text with your desired text or image.  You must make sure that the publisher's website either opens up in a new window or the current window.  To ensure the publishers site completely fills the current window (even if using frames), keep the target="_top" in your HTML code.  To open the publishers site in a new window or tab, include target="_blank" instead.

Make sure that you save every Hoplink and create a spreadsheet containing a list of all your Hoplinks created as ClickBank does not store your Hoplinks.

PLACE YOUR HOPLINKS

So, now you have created your Hoplinks, now you must get our Hoplinks in front of customers whoa re interested int he products you ahve chosen to promote.  You can use a variety of methods but here are some of the most common examples used:

paid search engine marketing, content and niche sites or product review sites, personal website or blogs and email marketing.  Whichever method you use, they must be in accordance with the ClickBank Client Contract and Network Abuse Policy.  Make yourself familiar with these.   You can also use the ClickBank Affiliate Resources page to give you some ideas on other methods.  Also, look on the ClickBank Marketplace for resources for new affiliates.

To make sure that your are working properly and have been formatted and created properly, follow these simple steps before starting your promotion:
  1. Enter your Hoplink into anew browser window and hit "enter"
  2. Click on one of the publishers ClickBank order buttons
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the ClickBank order form.  You will see your account nickname listed as the  affiliate.
Now you are done and you will be earning the commission on any sales generated by you for those products.  Good Luck!

Merchants Need One-Click Upsell

How Does ClickBank’s One-Click Upsell Flow Work?

The beginning of an upsell flow operates like any other ClickBank purchase; a customer visits your Pitch Page, clicks the payment link, then enters their payment information on the ClickBank order form and completes their purchase. In a non-upsell purchase, the customer is then taken to a confirmation page where they see their order details and can access the product.
In an upsell-enabled purchase, however, the customer is instead taken from the order form to an additional Pitch Page of your choice (upsell-Diagram 1). Depending upon how the upsell flow is configured and how the customer responds to the offer, they may then be sent to a second Pitch Page (upsell 2), and finally, sent to a third and final Pitch Page (upsell 3 in Diagram 1.1). We refer to this sequence of Pitch Pages as an “upsell flow.” Here are just a few examples of how you might implement your upsell flow.

Once the customer completes the upsell flow, they are taken to a ClickBank Confirmation Page, which contains links to the individual Thank You pages of the items purchased.  You do not need to create a new Thank You Page to represent all possible purchase combinations; ClickBank automatically displays the correct combination of purchased items.

From the confirmation page, the customer may access the Thank You Page for each product purchased. Additionally, both you and the customer will receive a sales notification email for each item purchased.
